In January of 2020, Tim Priebe enrolled in and completed a 40 hour class on mediation taught by Judy Mares-Dixon (http://dixonmediation.com). After completing the class, Tim Priebe became a volunteer mediator for the Colorado Springs' Better Business Bureau and also currently works for the Colorado Springs' District Attorney's Office mediating through their Neighborhood Justice Center.
Additionally, Tim Priebe mediates on private matters through his law office. Currently he is mediating all types of matters from civil lawsuits to family law matters.
If you should ask why he mediates, Tim will tell you because he has been practicing for more than 25 years. By that he means that practicing law for that long has taught him that giving up the decision making process to either a Judge or a jury can lead to crazy results. The best result comes about when both parties are involved with and in the process. While neither party will be completely satisfied, both can leave the table knowing that the deal is done and the matter is resolved.
